Summer College on Nonequilibrium Physics from Classical to Quantum Low Dimensional Systems

6 - 24 July, 2009
The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy

Chapter member Narine Gevorgyan participated in the Summer College on Nonequilibrium Physics from Classical to Quantum Low Dimensional Systems. This Summer College was reviewed the state-of-the-art experiments and theories of quantum and classical non-equilibrium phenomena in low dimensional systems.
Lectures was complemented with seminars, discussions, tutorials and poster sessions.

The goal of the College is to bring together active researchers working in the field of quantum and classical non-equilibrium phenomena to deliver both educational lectures on non-equilibrium physics and give seminars on the topics of their recent research in the field. The College aims at attracting the interest of young researchers (graduate students, PhD students, post-docs) from developing and developed countries, which are members of the UN, UNESCO or IAEA, working or planning to study physical phenomena out of equilibrium and its applications in classical/quantum systems.
